My cousin got a fitted Kitchen installed last year he's regretted this day he says there a bunch of Cowboys Big Time.
Mixed feelings on this review. Our end result on our bathroom is brilliant. But it was an absolute shambles of a journey to get there. First of all when we visited the store, we were offered a date for installation which was very soon. We thought this was great at the time, but did feel pressured to make a decision quickly. After being unsure we decided to go for it. We were never offered or given a 3D CAD design of our bathroom that is advertised on their television advert. Only since discovered that they do this! We wern't even given a floor plan to take with us. The only planning we saw was on the computer screen at the store. Which the salesman said he was yet to tweek to our liking. Specific things were discussed like shelving and a vanity unit, plus where our shower controls were to go. However, once the installation began things started to go wrong. The workmen themselves were great. No complaints about them whatsoever. Friendly helpful workmen, but they are contractors. For starters, our shower controls were in the wrong place, the toilet was in the wrong place, the outdoor waste pipe was above ground when we had specifically requested it to be below ground. The workmen didn't even know anything about the vanity unit or shelves we had asked for, and were approved upon at the time of the meeting! Infact, there were many measurements and important details missing from the floor plan the workmen were given to work from. No communication between salesman and workmen. And of course the salesman was "not available" whenever i called to discuss and sort it out. Convenient! We did end up with a lovely vanity unit after insisting this storage was important to us. However first off the shelving provided were made from kitchen units! Off cuts from another job. Not acceptable for such a high cost bathroom! They were then replaced with different shelves, but were still spares from another job. You would assume when paying good money for such a high quality finish you would get everything brand new, made to fit. Plus the shelves were held up by wooden batons! This isn't a "quality finish" as expected. We expected floating shelves or similar. Waste pipe was put under the ground after meeting with the site manager and expressing our frustration. The toilet was moved to closer to where we wanted it, but not exactly where we had originally wanted it. But with the hole already made in our exterior wall, we just had to accept it and compromise. After letting factory direct know our upsets, and wanting to hold back some money for our inconvenience and sleepless nights, we were simply met by a letter threatening us with solicitors. Nice! Our end result is very beautiful, but the stress it took to get there has put us off for life and we certainly won't use factory direct in the future for our kitchen or anywhere else. I would definitely avoid!
Very poor kitchen and the flooring was just a mess and very pricey in all truth I think they ripped me off big style.Would not recommended them to build a rabbit hutch.
After having factory direct come into my home and make measurements with a promise to send drafts and quotes - I have been let down. I never received Any further contact from them. I called roughly 7 times to ask if someone could please contact me regarding the job in hand and no response. On my last call, I voiced how unhappy I was with their service and that I have tried through calls and emails wanting their help- with a final promise that someone would call me back ... of course they never did. They are highly unreliable and provide poor customer care and all round service. I have them seven chances. I would tell anyone now... dont waste your time.
