We went there for lunch, I had the steak pie it was so good. The pastry was flaky and the beef just melted in my mouth.Our server was very friendly and attentive. He directed us to a cosy table next to heater as it was a cold day.
The food is very tasty. Family friendly with play area for children. Nice big garden. Food is made with local ingredients and suppliers and it shows. The only thing missing is more local draught beers and maybe a bit more veg variety, but these are minor complaints. Best pub and restaurant in the area.
I recently had a funeral tea catered for at the Bennachie Lodge Hotel and would like to offer my thanks to the Chef and staff for an excellent presentation and for the hard work they all contributed. They made a sad occasion bearable.Well done Bennachie, good luck in the future.
Great place for families in the fine weather, enjoyed a meal while the kids play outside. Great play equipment, big area for running and playing and even a bouncy castle was put up. Food was good and arrived quickly. Only one negative point - the male member of staff who served us that day could definitely use some customer service training - was rude and was displeased that we as a larger party had arrived without booking - even though it was not particularly busy, and we had said we were in no hurry! Not a great first impression to be made especially with family from overseas. But we did not let that ruin the experience - although would have been an easy 5 stars if it weren't for him!
Excellent FoodWe had a meal in their restaurant. The chicken soup was probably the best ever, it was truly great taste and presentation. The fish and chips too were top notch. The service was friendly. Can honestly say it far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend!!.
