Negligence the emergency with my cat.We had to put our cat to sleep yesterday, it was the most painful day of our lives. He had a problem on Saturday 1h30 in the morning, we called the emergency, the vet diagnosed my cat with thromboembolism and she only gave him medication for this after several hours! (And I have to mention that the first thing she told us as soon as she arrives in the practice was "oh there is an extra charge because of the time") And when we went back there later on to see him she said "I could not find the medication so waited for the nurse to come in the morning to sort this out." What is this emergency for? Want to charge me but don't give the medication to my cat? Yesterday I took him to a vet for a second opinion, called Meadows to send all the results for the tests done in my cat to the other practice, including x-ray, and they only sent blood test. The second vet confirmed that my cat had thromboembolism, and nothing could be done to help him, it was too late.If the vet at Meadows had done her work properly and did not only think about the money, maybe he would still be with us. Rest in peace Boris, we all love you.
